 Preventive maintenance checklist of centrifugal pump.

Routine preventive and protective maintenance practices should , at a minimum, include the monitoring of the following:

• Bearing and lubricant condition. Monitor bearing temperature, lubricant level, and vibration.
•  Shaft seal condition
• Overall pump vibration
• Pump discharge pressure
• Check oil leaks at the gaskets.
• Feel all bearing for temperature
• Check pump for noisy bearings and cavitation
• If the pump is offline check the coupling and its it's shims for any damages.
  

Checklist for Centrifugal pump

1.  Foundation frame & bolt to be tightened and should not be rusted.
2. Coupling condition should not be worn out.
3. Pump and motor alignment to be do.
4. Spider not be loose or broken.
5. Check the bearing oil seal condition be good.
6. Mech gland condition.
7. Pump and motor guard should be in proper condition.
8. Pump stainer not be chocked.
9. No any abnormal sound occurred.
10. Cooling water line condition should be ok.
